Our wedding is a celebration of a holy union and a new beginning for our blended family. We want the day to feel less like a formal event and more like coming over for Sunday dinner.

Our outdoor ceremony will take place on the country club lawn overlooking the lake, with the oak trees nearby. Afterward, we’ll head inside for cocktails, Sunday supper, and dancing.

A few helpful details

What should I wear?

Cocktail Attire

Our ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn, followed by an indoor reception.

  • Ladies: Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or dressy separates.
  • Gentlemen: Suits or sport coats with dress slacks. Ties are optional.
  • Shoes: The ceremony is on grass, so block heels, wedges, flats, or loafers are recommended.
  • Weather: November evenings can cool off, so you may want to bring a light jacket or wrap.
Is the ceremony outdoors?

Yes. The ceremony will be held on the country club lawn overlooking the lake. The reception will be indoors.

Do you have a registry?

We don’t have a registry and aren’t asking for gifts. Celebrating with our family and friends is more than enough.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 3:30 p.m. so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m.
